About The Laughing Lizards Band

The Laughing Lizards Old Time String Band is based out of Houston, TX.  The band is fronted by Steve and Donna Bing.  Their music is Appalachian Old Time, Louisiana Cajun, Texas Swing, Ragtime, Gospel, and a mix of other stuff.  Steve Bing plays fiddle, Cajun accordion, mandolin, and harmonica.  Steve also is a traditional square and contra dance caller.  Donna Bing plays guitar and banjo ukulele.  Dr. John Templeton plays banjo and bass.  Liz Hampton plays cello, fiddle, and mandolin.  Our vocals are two and three part harmonies.  We play for all kinds of events including square dances and contra dances, festivals, breweries, pubs, parties, and restaurants.  We would like to play for your event so contact us via the home page and click on "email" or "FACEBOOK."  We also have a great YOU-TUBE video page which you can also access from our home page.
